Kale is a hardy biennial closely related to cabbage and broccoli. It can overwinter in mild climates and has a long harvest window. Plants can be grown to full size for bunching or to baby leaf stage for salad greens. Kale can be harvest as a come again crop especially at the baby leaf stage. Kale can be planted as a spring or fall crop.
LACINATO KALE Unique blue-green savoyed leaves on extremely vigorous heirloom plants. One of our most tender kale varieties; ideal for raw kale salads and soups. RED RUSSIAN KALE Bright purple stems and slate green, deeply lobed foliage. Leaves are tender, smooth and very sweet compared to other kales.
