Kale is a hardy biennial closely related to cabbage and broccoli. It can overwinter in mild climates and has a long harvest window. Plants can be grown to full size for bunching or to baby leaf stage for salad greens. Kale can be harvest as a come again crop especially at the baby leaf stage. Kale can be planted as a spring or fall crop.
